Grumpy Days

You may have noticed my lack of posting lately. It wasn't due to the fact that we are all having so much fun and I haven't gotten a chance to photograph anything, but rather everyone is sick. My patience and compassion is running low these days.

Ember is actually not sick, but is grumpy because of all the attention I am giving to everyone else. She is not a fan of having them home all day.
Asher started with a bad cough and fever last week. Just as that started to subside he got the worst stomach bug. I will spare all the glorious details, but he was nice enough to share it with the other kids.
Pipes is so pitiful when she is sick. She is wearing summer pajamas and is cold. She doesn't want to wear anything warmer so she just curls up into it.
Yes, Dexter is wearing Nate's shirt. He got sick this morning. Asher was still sleeping (a VERY rare occurrence) and I was not about to wake him up. He has done really well with potty training this week, but we are putting that on hold today.
I see a lot of Dora and My Little Ponies in my future today.

  3. I think you need to post a sign out in front of the house: No men in big white trucks from the loony bin allowed here.... Just in case. Watching My Little Pony over and over and over...quick, get off the subject. Emmy! She's nice to think about and talk about (as are all the kiddies)...and WOW! Her face is the exact shape of Asher's face! Maybe you could have her send some hair over to Noelli who doesn't much at all yet. :-) That's OK...I love Noelli the way she is and I love all my kiddies, grumpy or not. Wish I could be there to help out and give you a break. Tell them I am giving them hugs and kisses in the air :-) Let's see, what could you do with them? Boil up a whole bunch of spaghetti and put it in the bathtub or a round wash tub and have them play in it? No? Ummmm.... cut circles out from construction paper and see who can cut the most? Glue macaroni on a flattened cereal box and make a design and then paint it? Or have an outline of something drawn and have them glue rice and lentils and beans on it....
