Wagon Ride

Piper got his wagon for her Birthday, but like most toys Asher assumes they are his. He does enjoy pulling her around the yard. Princess Piper is very happy with this arrangement. I'm really hoping we start getting cooler weather soon so we can play outside more.

End of Summer

This summer has been incredibly hot and the kids haven't been enjoying it. It's so hard to be outside for long periods of time. There is a new indoor bounce house place that opened up recently, so I took the kids over last week. They both had a blast. Piper of course forgot to bring her socks so I had to buy some for her. I didn't post any pictures of Asher bouncing because he never took the time to stand still.
Asher is recently potty trained and LOVES to spend all his time in his new underpants, of course that means only his underpants. He also likes to wear his hat backwards. Nemo is also part of the crew he rolls with these days.

Baby # 3

I'm sure most of you are aware that we are having another baby. This one is due April 6th. This weekend I entered the throwing up portion of the pregnancy. That part lasted all nine months with the first two pregnancies, but I'm hoping this little Niphakis will be a bit nicer to me. We have been going back and forth about finding out, and right now we are saying we want to be surprised. I also don't think we will pick a name until we see the baby. My other two babies are currently needing some attention, so I should get to them before they resort the throwing dog food at each other again. I'll keep you all updated.

Hatteras

Last weekend my friend Katie was down at Hatteras Island, so we went down for the day. The waves were really rough so we couldn't stay in the water long. Asher and Piper played in the sand for a while, but then decided the pool was the better choice.

It was so nice to catch up with Katie. Nate was away in Utah this week, so the kids and I had a lot of play dates.

We're still here

I haven't forgotten about the blog, I just needed a break after coming back from France. Piper is now walking across the living room, so her days of crawling are coming to an end. At walmart this evening Asher kept pointing to different items and telling me he needed them. When we got to the candy isle I explained the difference between a want and a need. He looked at me, grabbed a chocolate bar and said "Mommy I neeeeeeed this". We'll continue this lesson tomorrow.
