Southern Autumn

This time of year I miss Pennsylvania. I love the colors and the leaves. We really don't get that here. One part of fall that I do love here is the cotton. Seeing it still surprises me. It's so white and fluffy. Today was a great day for being outside, so the kids and I took a bike ride over to a cotton field.

Dex was quite grumpy and not in the mood for a photo shoot.
Asher as usual was just too busy running to stand still for very long.
Someday I will manage to get a good shot of them all together...maybe when they are in the twenties.
Piper really wanted me to take a picture of her new boots. She loves the change of seasons since it means a new wardrobe.

  1. I know the other two aren't looking, but that's such a great picture of Asher! I miss your children so much!

  2. I too like the picture of Asher! I can't believe how grown up he's getting. I miss my kiddies!!!! that must be one of the new Carter's outfits you got...very cute! the cotton really is beautiful!!! it's good to find substitutes for the seasons and celebrations you miss...and cotton is a good one for fall! :-) Well done!

  3. The cotton is so pretty Ally! Your kids look adorable. You know I love the boots too!

  4. Ally, I love seeing the cotton. It's amazing seeing the kids in the fields like that (something you'd never see around here.) Piper's red leggings are such a cool contrast to the cotton!
